SEDI to award $500 cash to teachers for innovative programs

Apply Now
Deadline May 7, 2010

Coconino County in northern Arizona is one of the most beautiful and culturally diverse places in the United States. It contains Grand Canyon National Park, the Havasupai Nation, and parts of the Navajo, Hualapai and Hopi Nations. Except for the city of Flagstaff (pop. ~62,000), the county is largely rural.

The Sustainable Economic Development Initiative (SEDI) fosters innovative approaches to economic development appropriate to who we are and where we live. We focus on five types of development where there are significant opportunities for sustainability. For each we have identified goals, strategies and action steps as well as additional resources and opportunities.

Sustainable economic development is a community effort. Contact us for better living through sustainability.
