Bill Morrison - Board Member

Bill MorrisonBill Morrison started his career in the financial services industry in 1978 with a major Midwest life insurance carrier. He formed Benefit & Financial Strategies in Flagstaff in 1988, focusing on investments and providing financial and estate planning services. Bill now works with individuals and businesses to help them to develop and maintain retirement plans, investment strategies, and estate-preservation techniques.

Bill majored in business and finance at Northern Arizona University. He has received various financial services industry and company specific production awards. In 2002, he received the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation, awarded to individuals who successfully complete a series of advanced courses in the areas of insurance, investment, estate, retirement, and financial planning.

Bill is involved in volunteer activities that benefit Northern Arizona University and local non-profit organizations. He is past president of the Northern Arizona Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, board member emeritus Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, board member of Coconino Community College Foundation, president of Northern Az Capital Facilities Finance Corp. (at NAU), board member Lumberjack Athletic Association, and past board member YMCA.

Bill is the father of three, grandfather of two, and husband of one. He and his family enjoy houseboating on Lake Powell and snow skiing.
