William P. Ring - Board Member

William P. RingWilliam P. "Bill" Ring is President and sole shareholder of William P. Ring, P.C., a land use and zoning law firm in Flagstaff, Arizona. The firm’s practice area includes northern Arizona and specializes in New Urbanist community designs, form-based coding and sustainable community practices.

Bill obtained his undergraduate degree in Religious Studies from University of Rochester, in Rochester, New York. His M.S. Ed., was obtained in a joint degree program with Rochester Institute of Technology. Bill received a J.D. from University of Arizona in 1989 and has practiced law in Flagstaff, Arizona for twenty years. He is adjunct professor of land use law at Northern Arizona University. He is past president of the Coconino County Bar Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Arizona Builders Association. He serves on the Citizens Advisory Committee for the decennial revision of the Flagstaff-Coconino County Regional Land Use and Transportation Plan.

Bill is married with three children, and his hobbies include anything athletic and a collection of vintage guitars.
