Jennifer Jenkins - Board Member

Jennifer JenkinsJennifer Oliver Jenkins is the Chair of SEDI's Development and Investment Committee. Her nearly ten years in the environmental and energy industry includes experience in project development and management, environmental remediation, political strategy, and government affairs.

Ms. Jenkins joined the team at EN3 Professionals as a project manager, scientist, and business development manager. She is an active member of the American Wind Energy Association, Solar Energy Industry Association and the American Solar Energy Society. Ms. Jenkins is also the Co-Director for the Southwest Renewable Energy Conference this year.

Prior to her current roles, Ms. Jenkins gained much of her experience in the renewable energy industry as the government affairs liaison for Southwest Windpower. In this role, she met with policy makers, stakeholders and advocates to build support for policy development, worked directly with federal legislative members to support policy and obtain funding for the advancement of technology, and provided continuous outreach to advocates of renewable energy such as non-profits, trade associations, private business owners, foundations, and governments to build support for residential wind.

Ms. Jenkins has lived in Flagstaff since the summer of 2002 where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with an emphasis on policy and public administration from Northern Arizona University in 2004.
