Dr. Leah Bornstein - Board Member

Dr. Leah BornsteinLeah Bornstein serves as President of Coconino Community College (CCC), assuming the duties of that challenging role in September of 2007. The college has more than 350 full-time and part-time employees, offers more than 60 degrees and certificates and serves some 8000 students each year. Through her collaborative work with the college community, Dr. Bornstein has made sustainability a core value of the institution.

She came to CCC from the Summit Campus of Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge where she served as Dean and CEO. A native New Englander, she was awarded her bachelor’s degree from Bradford College (Bradford, Mass.), her master’s degree from the University of Vermont, and her Ph.D. from the University of Denver. Dr. Bornstein is an avid outdoors enthusiast who shares that passion with her husband, Joseph D. Findley.
