SEDI LeadershipNat White - Board Member
Nat earned his A.B. in Physics from Earlham College, his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Astronomy from Ohio State University, and his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Northern Arizona University. He has over 50 reviewed publications in astronomy and instrumentation, and managed the construction and operation of the Navy Prototype Optical Interferometer on Anderson Mesa east of Flagstaff. Nat has served on the Flagstaff City Council and as Vice-Mayor and received the Friends of Flagstaff’s Future Liveable Community Award. He hold numerous course records for running, and is in the College Athletic Hall of Fame. Besides running, he enjoys survival hikes and rebuilding old vehicles. Nat plays trombone in several local bands. He is married with three children, all born, raised, and living in Flagstaff.
