Ron Hubert - President and Board Chairman

Ron HubertRon Hubert, MBA, MS, is the founder and Managing Director of Hozho International, where strategies prove that superior financial performance requires environmental and social responsibility. Hozho works with local and national firms, developers and creators of the built environment, foundations, and tribal organizations.

Ron brings over 20 years experience as a strategy consultant to his work with senior business executives in a variety of industries, including 15 years as a senior partner in the strategy practice of Deloitte Consulting. He has also held positions in international banking, and taught for 13 years in the Graduate School of Business at the University of Southern California.

Ron has served on more than 25 non-profit and for-profit boards including Haley & Aldrich, an international environmental engineering firm, and Grand Canyon Youth. He currently serves as President and Chairman of SEDI. His previous board service includes the Center for National Policy, the Museum of Northern Arizona, and the Almansor Center, a pre-school through adult program for children with severe learning disabilities. Among other honors, Ron is listed in Who’s Who in California.

Ron is an Adjunct Professor and the Program Director for the Sustainable Communities Program at Northern Arizona University’s School of Earth Sciences and Environmental Sustainability. During his career he has authored over 50 articles, research papers and book chapters, and has spoken at over 70 seminars and professional conferences.
