Actions in Progress : Education

SEDI supports educational programs at Northern Arizona University (NAU), Coconino Community College (CCC), Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD), Coconino Association for Vocations, Industry and Technology (CAVIAT), and others that provide EE&R workforce training and product development. Specific actions include:

• Support for and promotion of Alternative Energy Certification and Sustainable Building degree programs at CCC.
• Assistance in the coordination of green building and energy efficiency education and workforce development programs at CCC, FUSD, CAVIAT, and NAU.
• Facilitation of a multi-partner effort to create a Northern Arizona Workforce Development and Training Center.
