Resources and Opportunities: Institute of Ecotourism Located next to the historic cultural villa of Tlaquepaque in Sedona, Arizona, the Institute of EcoTourism aims to be a community resource for environmental education, resource conservation, and just plain fun. The Institute offers a series of state-of-the-art interactive exhibits exploring topics of natural history, indigenous cultures and resource conservation. The grounds of the Institute serve as a native plant exhibit and visitors are welcome to explore their organic greenhouse, a mock archeology excavation, and a series of learning stations focusing on the local plant and animal community. Visitors are also welcome to take advantage of computer stations offering internet access, or enjoy a program in the Sinagua Theater, which offers video presentations throughout the day. For more information, please visit the IOET Web site, or call them at 928-282-2720.
